MERC Core Membership
Eligibility:
Open to all who are UCSF faculty whose academic or professional work aligns with the MERC mission statement.
Responsibilities:
Term: 2-years, renewable
Attend most core faculty meetings (3-4 yearly)
Update profile and activities in Center materials yearly or when requested
Participate in training and mentoring activities
Attend at least 3-4 Works in Progress (WIPs) or all faculty meetings per year
As appropriate:
Attend and present at Center sponsored seminars and other events
Include support for Center in funding requests
Participate in Center and program grant applications
Participate in Center dissemination methods (e.g., manuscripts, newsletter, social media)
Advocate for the Center
MERC Affiliate Membership
Eligibility:
Open to all who are UCSF faculty, fellows, postdoctoral scholars, or research specialists whose academic or professional work aligns with the MERC mission statement.
Responsibilities:
Term: 2-years, renewable
Subscribe to listserv and other Center dissemination methods
Agree to be listed in Center materials and provide updates as appropriate
Attend at least one Center sponsored faculty meeting and Works in Progress (WIP) each year, and other events when possible
