MERC faculty have expertise in study design as well as quantitative measurement and statistical analysis.  This includes expertise in design and conduct of randomized controlled trials, quasi-experiments, and observational studies; regression modeling of clustered and longitudinal data; design of participant-report instruments and psychometric analysis of resulting data; testing mediated and moderated processes; time-to-event modeling; structural equations with latent variables; modeling probability sample data; power analysis for complex study designs; Monte Carlo simulation; and analysis with missing data.
